Uh.. is that you spring??

Okay, it was seven degrees, my street is like a river, I was able to chip up TONS of ice today from my driveway and it was sunny... was the first day of spring a truly magical day, or what?!

I know I live in the "North" but I really dislike winter and on days like today, I just feel a little more alive... come on spring, bless us with your warmth!!

I hope all of you scrappy people out there are enjoying some warm weather too!

Pink and Brown

I love pink and brown! I had this from a layout kit from Remember This Scrapbooking and thought it was perfect to do a card challenge I have been meaning to get to. I had just enough left of my brown cs and bits of scraps (from not measuring for my main card very well - oops) to do these 4 little mini cards as well...

My first reveal...

I had my first card revealed over the weekend over at Deanna's blog "A Scrap Addict's Sketches". The link is over on my blog roll. Here is the card I made based on her sketch.

Now that I am back from Vancouver, I plan on doing something "scrappy" tonight so stay tuned!

I've been busy...

Hey out there! I haven't disappeared, I've been working on a card order and had a SUPER crazy week last week. I was out of town from Wed-Friday and then my dh had to be up at work all weekend long.... I got NO scrappy stuff done!

Here is a quick shot of the cards I am doing for my FIL. They are going postal this afternoon.

Now I am prepping for my retreat this weekend and I can't even TELL you how excited I am to be going. Here's my top 5 list of why I am excited to be going on this retreat (they do this on the radio every morning so I had to do it too.

5. A girls weekend away

4. No cooking or cleaning required

3. I am supposed to have my scrap space all messy

2. I am going to get a TON of stuff done

1. My friends from Edmonton are driving to PG to attend and I MISS them so much!!
