2 New Layouts

Here's two new lo's I did at crop club Friday night. AGAIN, I just did the challenges for January by the DT team and got some great pictures into my books. Yay! The first layout is actually having the picture replaced as that is last years that I printed off fast. THIS years is MIA at the moment... in this scary scraproom somewhere. The 2nd layout is from January 2007 (which is why the boys look so little) with their buds Zachary and Caleb. They were the best next door neighbours ever but they moved back to Edmonton and we don't get to see them as much.

BUT only 6 weeks until the retreat where I will get to see their mom and am sure to get tons done. Last post before we leave tomorrow. I'll be back with pics of the beach.... Since it is minus 30 today.... I can't wait for some sun.

Year in Review

Here is a Year in Review page I did for Aimee's challenge over at Lil Scrappers for January. This is 2007 cause that album is almost done - only a first page, Xmas page and a "I've been screwed" page to do and the album is finished (anyone guess what the "screwed" page is about? Catchy title, LOL)

I have crop club tonight so hopefully I'll have time to upload what I got done then before we leave for Hawaii... I have the kids all day tomorrow for music lessons and Hapkido cause dh is at a meeting. Wish me luck. I'll be sure to post some Hawaii pics as soon as I'm back. Jen

2 new cards....

Yay, yay, yay... one each night for the last 2 nights. I am stoked (no pun intended on that). I am finding it so hard to get stuff done. I am running every night now and once that is done and I am showered... it is 9:00 and I am tired. But, no, I said "self! Get down there cause you regret it every morning." Now if only I could get myself to clean this PIGSTY!! I'm not posting a picture of that. These cards are both inspired by Carla's challenges over at Lil Scrappers.

The first I had to do 3 different brands of pp (me&my BIG ideas, SEI and Colorbok), sets of 6 embellishments and a circle that had some stitching on it.

The second, we had to do food of some sort and then use something old from our stash. I had the cupcake chipboard for a LONG time and had had that "Happy Birthday" stamp for a year in a kit and never used it. The pp and journaling block are both from Colorbok and I found them at Michaels this week. Fresh, fun colours and I had to get them.

I am working on a digital layout from Xmas this year too but... creative block and it is not done yet. Nighty, night... Jen

Xmas 2008

Here is my layout for January. I said I wanted to get one Xmas layout done in January - but am determined to get two done as I want to get Xmas morning in too... This is my layout for my challenge for everyone to write down one layout a month for the year and to get it done!!

My Book of Me title page

Michy at Lil Scrappers posted this year-long challenge to do a "Book of Me". Here is my title page based on her sketch. I have 4 of my friends doing this challenge too and we are all putting them up on "Scrapaholics" over on Facebook.

I got to use pink and flowers and two pp I have had for a long time but didn't have a use for. I am excited to do this challenge as I am hardly EVER in the pictures and with two boys, I don't get to use "pretty" very often. I think that is why I like card making! In searching my stash to make this, I've pulled out enough paper to finish the book, LOL!

Have a great night, I'm off for a shower and bed. Just got off the treadmill and I'm pooped.

I've done 6 cards and another layout from 2006 digitally and I haven't taken pictures and posted... I will tonight.

I just wanted to say that I challenged my scrap-buddies to Michy's "All about Me" challenge over at Lil Scrappers and they all have said yes. What a great bunch of buds I have. Almost all of us live in different cities now (which REALLY sucks!!!!) but something like this makes me feel more connected to them.... moving on, before I get emotional :)

I also just challenged them all to a "ONE a month" challenge for 2009. We are all super busy people with jobs and families and other commitments.... but I challenged them to make a list for every month in 2009 and put down one layout they would like to get done for that month. Let's see what they say....

Before I go.... 18 more sleeps until Hawaii, whoo whoo.... I went tanning at lunch and I'm feelin' good....

A new digital layout...

Another new layout I did this morning while the kids were playing. I am working on all the pictures from our trip down to the lower Mainland in the summer of 2006 so these are from the same time as yesterday's digital page and from the aquarium page I posted a while back. I now have two layouts left from the time we were at my parents house. Some really nice pics from the beach so I am having a hard time picking the pictures I want to use... now I have to pick because I've done all the rest :)

Here's some stuff I did with the November card kit from Lil Scrappers. It was fun trying to use all the supplies in lots of different ways!

New layout

Long time, no posts :) I've been enjoying my time off and have gotten quite a bit of stuff done but haven't taken lots of pictures yet. Here's one for today at least that I did digitally.
I am trying to do some older pictures digitally and my newer stuff and cards with newer stuff. I am enjoying both! I'll be back with some stuff I did for the Guest DT spot over at Lil Scrappers.
